Chip & Crack Repair
A revolutionary glass repair system is now available that can save you hundreds of dollars. Technology discovered in the 90′s, has lead to a chemically formulated resin that can be injected into damaged glass, resulting in a repair that is guaranteed against further cracking. The chip or crack will not disappear 100%, however 40% to 90% will disappear, leaving a small part visible. It is however, guaranteed to never spread any further. The repair process by a trained technician includes cleaning the damaged area, injecting a special formulated resin into the crack with high tech tools especially designed for whatever type of damage the technician encounters. Ultra violet light is applied to cure the area. The result is a structurally sound windshield with hardly any traces of damage. A written guarantee is provided with each repair against further cracking.

In 1940 J.H. Merrill started Auto Glass Co. on Main St. He passed on his knowledge and business on to his son and today the Merrill’s are still installing auto glass. We have always provided honesty and quality to our customers. Deep Ellum Auto Glass, run by Robert Merrill, is a customer driven, quality focused company. With an experienced installation team, we install and repair glass for several car dealerships, body shops and insurance companies in Dallas and the surrounding counties. We also provide our customers with Mobile Service, coming directly to you, so you do not have to make the trip. We are also a member of the Better Business Bureau and we believe you will be hard pressed to find another glass company as dedicated to their customers as ours.

Glass Replacement Warranty
Fixed glass installations (those that do not operate) such as the windshield and back glass are warranted for as long as you own your vehicle against leakage, except that which occurs as a result of vehicle collision damage or metal deterioration (rust). All operating windows such as the door glass are warranted for 1 year against defects in workmanship.
Rock Chip Repairs Warranty:
The repair process involves the injection of special adhesives into the damaged part of the glass. The degree of success of each repair is a function of several variables. Windshield repairs are warranted as long as you own your vehicle. If a repair fails, or the crack gets larger, we will credit the repair amount toward a new windshield installed by Deep Ellum Auto Glass in the same vehicle.
